The Commission on Higher Education has identified Bohol Island State University as an awardee in the EQUATE, “Excellence in Quality Assurance in Teacher Education”, Awards on April 2, 2025 at the Manila Hotel, 1 Rizal Park, Ermita, Manila.

BISU Main Campus, along with BISU Bilar and BISU Candijay campuses, received the Excellence in Quality Assurance in Teacher Education Award. These multiple awards serve as recognition of BISU’s consistent upholding of the highest standard in ensuring the quality of pre-service teacher education programs, following the CHED minimum standards, program accreditation, and excellent performance in the Board of Licensure Examination for Professional Teachers (BLEPT).

BISU Main Campus’ College of Teacher Education ensures the highest standards of quality service and is recognized for its unwavering commitment to achieve national education development goals especially through the delivery of quality Pre-Service Teacher Education in both Elementary and Secondary Levels.

Meanwhile, the College of Teacher Education of BISU Bilar and BISU Candijay campuses also received the Excellence in Quality Assurance in Teacher Education Award for Secondary Level, ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance.
