Bohol Island State University Main Campus proudly Congratulates the 36 newly licensed Electrical Engineers who passed the September 2022 Licensure Examination for Electrical Engineers. BISU performed above national passing percentage with 36 out of 45 passers or 80.00% passing percentage.

Bohol Island State University (BISU) Main Campus proudly bagged the recognition as the 3rd Top Performing School with 50 or more examinees and at least 85% passing percentage during the September 2022 Master Electrician Licensure Examination, with 93 out of 114 passers or 81.58% passing percentage. Moreover, BISU Balilihan Campus also produced a 7th Placer in the person of Mark Glen R. Macarayo, with an overall rating of 97%.

Bohol Island State University Main Campus proudly Congratulates the 33 newly licensed Civil Engineers who passed the May 2022 Licensure Examination for Civil Engineers. BISU performed above national passing percentage with 67 out of 94 passers or 72.04% passing percentage.

Bohol Island State University (BISU) Main Campus proudly bagged the recognition as the 1st Top Performing School with 50 or more examinees and at least 85% passing percentage during the February 2022 Mechanical Engineers Licensure Examination, with 78 out of 86 passers or 90.70% passing percentage.

The Commission on Higher Education has named Commissioner Dr. Jo Mark M. Libre as the new chair of the Board of Regents of Bohol Island State University and 23 other state universities and colleges in the country, as stated by CHED Chair J. Prospero E. de Vera III in CHED Special Order no. 22, dated March 1, 2022.
