BISU MC CAS Celebrates 2nd Anniversary with Year-End Evaluation and COPC Strategic Workshop

The College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) of BISU Main Campus celebrated a remarkable milestone as it held its 2nd Founding Anniversary in conjunction with the Academic Year-End Evaluation and COPC Strategic Workshop at JJ’s Seafood Village on April 7, 2025. The event brought together faculty members, students, and university officials for a day of reflection, recognition, and academic foresight.

Bohol Island State University is honored to be recognized as one of the top-performing Teacher Education Institutions (TEIs) in the country. This prestigious recognition was awarded at the Commission on Higher Education’s (CHED) Excellence in Quality Assurance in Teacher Education (EQUATE) Awards, held on April 2, 2025, at the Manila Hotel.

The Visayas Steno, Keyboarding, and Quiz Bowl 2025 drew participants from a diverse array of esteemed institutions across the region, including the BISU network (Bilar, Candijay, and Main Campuses), Central Philippine Adventist College (CPAC), Eastern Visayas State University-Main Campus (EVSU), Negros Oriental State University-Main Campus (NORSU), Tagbilaran City College (TCC), and Trinidad Municipal College (TMC).
