A heartfelt talk on integrity, humility, and family was the message of this year’s Recognition Rites and Tribute to Parents of BISU Calape.

Hosted by Bohol Island State University, the 4th USAPP Summit gathered over 90 scholars, educators, and students at the Metro Centre Hotel, Tagbilaran City, from June 6–8, 2025, to explore Filipino philosophy rooted in identity, ethics, and cultural memory. A key highlight was the ceremonial signing of a Memorandum of Agreement between BISU and the Philosophical Association of the Visayas and Mindanao, strengthening collaboration in regional philosophical research.
The College of Arts and Sciences of Bohol Island State University Main Campus joins the Writeshop on Crafting Bibliometric Analysis Papers as participated by Engr. John Lester C. Baroro at Molave Hall, One Central Hotel, Cebu City on May 29 – 30, 2025. The Writeshop aims to enhance the newly emerging journal of the college of arts and science focusing on the dynamics of the journal index, authors index and criteria worthy for Scopus.

Bohol Island State University (BISU) Balilihan Campus held its much-anticipated Recognition Program and Tribute to Parents on June 13, 2025 at BISU Balilihan Multi-Purpose Covered Court. But beyond the awards and applause, it was the powerful voices of the event’s main speakers that truly defined the morning—offering not just praise, but purpose.
The event marked a momentous transition for 821 graduates, who now step forward as alumni—bearing not only degrees but also the enduring spirit of KADAUGAN, the event’s central theme. Representing Kusog, Ampo, Desire, Antos, Uswag, Gugma, Action, and the Nasudnong Damgo, KADAUGAN was the rallying cry of the day.
