2025 University Paugnat ug Pasundayag
In a celebration ablaze with color, pride, and unity, all six campuses of Bohol Island State University (BISU) converged this week for the highly anticipated Paugnat ug Pasundayag 2025. The host, BISU Balilihan Campus, warmly welcomed the delegates from November 12–14 for the university’s premier athletic and cultural gathering.
The festivities officially opened with a grand parade, where delegates from every campus marched proudly with energy. Upon reaching the campus grounds, the presentation of delegates was met with cheers and yells followed by the thrilling hoisting of the flags. The assembly was further uplifted by the inspiring words of Balilihan Municipal Mayor Hon. Atty. Esther Patricia V. Chatto, along with Hon. Erico Aristotle Aumentado, Bohol’s provincial governor and the event’s Guest of Honor.
To finally conclude the grand opening, the ceremonial lighting of the athletic flame was led by two of BISU’s distinguished athletes, Aimee Joy D. Cobrador and Claire B. Autentico, both recognized National SCUAA athletes, who proudly carried and lit the torch to mark the official beginning of the competitions. With the flame burning bright, the Pasundayag competitions formally commenced, featuring six main categories: Performing Arts, Visual Arts, Singing, Dancing, Instrumental, and Chorale competitions. Under each category were various events that showcased the diverse, vibrant, and undeniably colorful talents of every BISUan.
This year’s Paugnat ug Pasundayag 2025 was not just an event of success, but a vibrant celebration of talent, skill, and pride, bringing together all BISU campuses under one united BISU spirit.
