‘Victories and Legacies’: BISU Main Campus Class of 2025 || Day 1: CTE, CEIAD, SAdS

The first day of the 92nd Commencement Exercises saw a total 1040 graduates claim their hard-earned diplomas: 531 from the College of Teacher Education, 415 from the College of Engineering, Architecture and Industrial Design, and 94 from the School of Advanced Studies.

After the presentation of the graduands by Main Campus Director Dr. Samuel J. Gulayan, they were then conferred as graduates by University President Dr. Anthony M. Penaso.

Dr. Maura Consolacion D. Cristobal, the regional director of Commission on Higher Education Region 7, gave lasting words of wisdom to the Class of 2025. She encouraged the graduates to leave a legacy. “Leaving a legacy,” the commencement speaker said, “is about the impact a person makes on others and the world, extending beyond their lifetime.”

University President Dr. Anthony Penaso ended the commencement exercises with a charge to the fresh graduates: “Will you follow the paths others have laid, or will you forge new ones?”

The graduates were then inducted to the BISU Alumni Association, and then gave their pledge of loyalty to the university in front of leadership.

Confetti fly, witness to the embraces and praise and pride on the gymnasium floor, signaling the culmination of the journey within the halls of this great University.

Congratulations, Bohol Island State University Main Campus Class of 2025!
