Immense Gratitude: BISU Main Campus Class of 2025 Celebrates #KADAUGAN with Loved Ones || Day 1: CTE, CEAID, and SAdS

A sunny day greeted the candidates for graduation from the College of Teacher Education (CTE), College of Engineering, Architecture, and Industrial Design (CEAID), and the School of Advanced Studies (SAdS) of Bohol Island State University Main Campus Class of 2025, all ready to meet the exciting future.
Yesterday, the parents and loved ones of the candidates for graduation were given the spotlight in the Recognition Rites and Tribute to Parents ceremony, held in the morning of June 24, at Bohol Wisdom School Gymnasium, Tagbilaran City, Bohol.
After a welcome message from Tereso T. Auditor, Jr., BSEd Math graduand and federated president of the BISU Supreme Student Government, college deans Dr. Chona Fullido, PhD of CTE, Engr. Julius Castro of CEAID, and Dr. Renario Hinampas Jr. of CTE presented the candidates to BISU Main Campus Director Dr. Samuel Gulayan for graduation.
Lovely testimonies were given by parent and BISU Vice President for Student Affairs and Services Dr. Zina Sayson, and BS Mechanical Engineering student Deevey May Egoc, who shared their stories of how family is a foundation in the academic journey of the graduates.
The administration then recognized the best performing students in academic and non-academic pursuits, with dozens of Latin honor recipients.

Inspiring the candidates was guest speaker Engr. Adrian G. Milana, the general manager and proprietor of Milana Electrical Services and of Milana Aircon and Refrigeration Parts Trading. Engr. Milana, who shared his humble beginnings and the great obstacles he and his family faced. The honorable speaker then gave a mighty salute to the working students, honoring their efforts to balance their noble academic pursuit and financial survival.

The morning of the first day of the BISU Main Campus graduation celebration ends with a touching tribute song, with the hearts of everyone in the gymnasium filled with thanksgiving.
