Introducing: The Graduates of BISU Clarin Class of 2025!

Three hundred and ninety-two hopefuls embraced a new world today, June 9, as they were officially confirmed as graduates during the 73rd Commencement Exercises of Bohol Island State University Clarin Campus held at the Student Activity Center of BISU Clarin Campus, municipality of Clarin, Bohol.

BISU Clarin’s Class of 2025 is composed of 33 graduates of Master of Arts in Education, 3 for Master of Arts in Education major in Education Management, 51 graduates of Bachelor of Elementary Education, 36 graduates of Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics, 78 for Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education Major in Home Economics, 88 for Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management, 47 for Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science major in Coastal Resource Management, and 59 for Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.

The graduates were presented by Campus Director Marietta Macalolot, and then confirmed as graduates by University President Dr. Anthony M. Penaso.

A heartfelt message from the baccalaureate address of cum laude BSEd-Math graduate Thea Claire M. Tagupa was then followed by messages of support delivered by Clarin municipal mayor Eugeniano Ibarra, and a representative of province of Bohol governor Aris Aumentado.

The esteemed guest of honor, Hon. Angel Enriquez, regional director of the Department of Agriculture Region 7, inspired the graduates in her commencement address, challenging the graduates to keep dreaming and to “turn those [dreams] into realities.”

After the graduates received their diplomas, Dr. Penaso bid them farewell with a final challenge: to complete their KADAUGAN with “visible, undeniable, and far-reaching” impact, and “to step forward with confidence.”

The graduates were then inducted into the alumni association and pledged their loyalty to the University, after which they shed joyous and celebratory tears with friends and loved ones.
