BISU Fosters Linkages with Ming Chi University of Technology

BISU officials welcomed Dr. Thu-Hua Liu, President of Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) from Taiwan on June 6 to discuss possible exchange programs.
Accompanying Dr. Liu were Provost Dr. Fong-Rey Liu, Director of the Center for International Affairs Dr. Chieh-Lau Li, Dr. Kung-Jui Pai of the Department of Industrial Engineering and Management, College of Management and Design, Dr. Kim Hoong Ng of the Department of Chemical Engineering, College of Environment and Resources, Dr. Chia-Hao Ku of the Department of Electrical Engineering, College of Engineering, Dr. Wan-Yin Lai of the Department of Industrial Design, College of Management and Design, and Program Coordinator Mr. Chi-Chieh Hsiao of the Office of International Affairs.
BISU VP for Administration and Finance Dr. Arceli M. Hernando, VP for Academics and Quality Assurance Dr. Maria Lilibeth G. Castil, and other key officials assured continued dialogue and future collaborations with MCUT. During the discussion, everyone agreed to MCUT president Dr. Thu-Hua Liu to foster “faculty-to-faculty friendships” between the two Universities.
The productive meeting was organized by the BISU College of Engineering, Architecture and Industrial Design and the BISU International Relations Office.
